Curbside Recycling and Trash Information
Weekly pickup of bulk trash and yard waste
Check your neighborhood trash schedule for your scheduled day of the
week for pickup. Old furniture, appliances, etc. are items that can
be placed
at the edge of the road by 6 AM of that day. These items must be separated
from household garbage and vegetation. Please do not place loose garbage
on the bulk trash pile as it can blow away and cause your area to be
unsightly. All loose garbage should be placed inside the cart and
only in front of
your home.
(GoNewberry.com asks you to consider donating working or unsoiled
items to one of our local charities, or a local family or organization
in need.)
Household Hazardous Waste
Items such as used motor oil, batteries, filters, pesticides, chemicals
and paints are not collected curbside. They must be taken to the Solid
Waste Authority Collection facility on 441 in High Springs. . If
you have further questions you can call them at .
